Dix pour cent (internationally known as Call My Agent!) is a French television series created by Dominique Besnehard and Fanny Herrero, broadcast from October 14, 2015 to November 4, 2020 on France 2. It follows the talent agents of the fictional agency ASK as they juggle the whims of famous actors playing themselves and their own complicated personal lives. Exported internationally as Call My Agent!, the series became a critical and popular hit, earning recognition at the International Emmy Awards.

In Paris, the ASK agency (Agence Samuel Kerr) goes through a turbulent period following the death of its founder. The four remaining agents, Mathias, Andréa, Gabriel and Arlette, must handle the egos, demands and crises of their clients on a daily basis while trying to save the agency from financial trouble and internal rivalries. Each episode features a well-known figure from French cinema playing a fictional, parodic version of themselves, caught up in a delicate professional or personal situation the agency must resolve. Alongside this, the storylines follow the personal lives of the agents and their assistants, spanning career ambitions, romantic entanglements and family secrets, in a setting that blends satire of the film industry with comedy of manners. The series unfolds over four seasons, marked by several departures and arrivals within the agency, without ever losing its sharp wit about the inner workings of French show business.

Dix pour cent originated from an idea by Dominique Besnehard, a well-known former talent agent, together with Michel Vereecken and Julien Messemackers, before being developed by screenwriter Fanny Herrero, who serves as showrunner. The project, originally conceived for Canal+, was ultimately revived by France Télévisions, which led screenwriter Nicolas Mercier, who had laid the groundwork for the pay channel, to leave the project. The series was directed by, among others, Cédric Klapisch, Lola Doillon, Antoine Garceau, Laurent Tirard and Jeanne Herry. Filming took place mainly in Paris and at the Aubervilliers studios, where the interior of the fictional agency was fully built, while its façade is set on rue Saint-Honoré, between the Louvre and the Palais-Royal gardens. The premise of celebrities playing themselves was the production’s riskiest bet: reportedly around thirty artists turned down the offer for the first season, before the show’s success made later participation easier to secure.

Dix pour cent achieved major critical and popular success in France, praised for its sharp, funny take on the film industry’s inner workings and for the strength of its cast, particularly Camille Cottin and Nicolas Maury. The series won Best Comedy Series at the 49th International Emmy Awards. Acquired by Netflix as early as 2015 under the title Call My Agent!, it gained significant international reach and inspired several local adaptations, including in Italy, India and Turkey. After its fourth and final season aired in 2020, several follow-up projects were discussed, first as a TV movie and then as a possible fifth season, before a feature film was officially greenlit. Written by Fanny Herrero and directed by Émilie Noblet (an earlier report also credited Fanny Herrero as director, a detail that remains to be confirmed), the film brings together Camille Cottin and George Clooney and is set to premiere on Netflix on September 10, 2026, five years after the fictional closure of the ASK agency.
